This cornbread is so moist and sweet. I made it to go along with taco pasta and it was amazing!!! I know it will be one of your favorites!

INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk (TIPS AND TRICKS: A substitute for buttermilk)
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/4 cup cornmeal
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Grease an 8 inch square (or round) pan. Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Combine the applesauce, eggs, and buttermilk. Add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix well.
Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 20-30 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
